Emails not showing up in sent folder

I answered several emails via the Fairmail app recently, replying directly to emails I had received. They are not recorded in the Sent folder, not in the app, not here. They are only visible in the Inbox/Eingang folder as if I sent them to myself. I have received no answers to these emails and have no idea whether theyve been sent or not. Why arent they in the sent folder? Is this just a problem with Fairmail, does it not work properly with Mailbox? Up until this problem, it seemed to be working well.
