"Ghost" Calendar Events

A while back when setting up my account I imported a few calendars from my old Google accounts. Since then, I decided to remove those calendars and work from some fresh Mailbox.org calendars. However, it seems like some of the recurring events from the old calendar are still in the calendar, though they are not showing. I know this because on occasion when I attempt to schedule something during when one of those "ghost" recurring items happened, I get a schedule conflict notification. I've gone through my various settings and calendar lists, trying to find vestiges of the old calendar persisting, but have to date found none. Would anyone else know how to "clean" or "trim" or "scrub" the calendar account?
