Availability via IPv6 for the Office.

As another blogpost explained, IPv6 is deactivated for good reasons on the external Mailservers.

But: The other set of your stack - the things, which an authenticated user will use, like imap, pop3, office,... - are not available via IPv6. Why? And are there plans to support IPv6?

Like all changes that effect multiple aspects of our network long-term planning needs to be done. We had IPV6 already in use to some extent but due to our new data center and our other projects that we want to complete first, we decided to roll back for moment. We will switch to IPV6 with a solid plan and without hurry.

I agree, it is best to ensure your existing infrastructure is functional first.

Has any progress been made since? What is the time frame for supporting ipv6?

IPv6 has been supported for a very long time.

(We do have not IPv6 on our MX records available right now, this has something to do with a better spam protection with IPv4.)
