I can receive email but I cannot send on my own domain

I have followed the tutorial and setup everything according to mailbox.org instructions.


I can receive emails on that address but I cannot send. I have waited enough for the dns settings to change so please do not recommend me that.

We don't have a global answer that is different to the tutorial.

If the tutorial doesn't help you please write an e-mail to the support including your accountname and the desired domain.

I am also confused about this. I'm able to send as my own domain in the web UI, but not on my other devices.

What is your problem? From our side (server side) there is no problem. You can use all your email aliases with your email client. How to do this depends on your email client.

You have to configure the sender addresses in your email client. We have a tutorial for Mozilla Thunderbird, other email clients may work different, but for all email clients you have to configure your sender adresses locally, they don't sync your aliases automatically from the mailbox.org server.

Sorry, I just figured it out. I had to set up using the instructions here, using the mailbox.org username as login even for the external domain alias address.
