I need to import .ics calendar files published online by others so I can keep up to date with them online. I can't find this option in the caldar. Does it exist?
Come on, Mailbox.org! Where are the answers to these basic questions?
A bit hidden, but it can be found at the end of this support article:
Could you be a little more specific? I can't find anything about the ics import at the end of the mentioned article...
Actually, you can use ics, you need to download the file on your hard disc and upload it to Mailbox. There is no sync though. You need apparently to upload a new file everytime that there is an update on your calendar.
@stobbart Sure. If you just want to import a ics file and as depicted in the last two pictures in the article you have to click on the "three bars" besides the name of the calendar into which the ics file should be imported. Then you choose "Import" and upload your ics file.
However, if you're aiming at subscribing to a calendar then this currently isn't possible as mentioned by 8805994. As far as I know this will be possible later this year with the next big software update.
I just dragged .ical I'd exported from Google Calendar onto my calendar into eM client for OX app and it updated seamlessly
Looking forward to the calendar subscription coming out soon. It seems strange the only option to do so currently is with google calendars. I use mailbox so I don't have to touch google!
The new feature of iCal subscription in calendar is not avaliable in the OX Sync App. It would be perfect, if my mailbox.org calendar is the center of my different iCal calendar subscriptions. So i could easily sync them in one step on every device i use.
