For me it is not so important that I can redefine shortcuts, the main point is to have them! This is really important. For me, a shortcut for "move message to folder" is particularly important.

Yes please! Now that I'm fully migrating away from Gmail, it's frustrating that I can't easily go to the next or previous email. Gmail uses "j" and "k" for that... but I wouldn't mind learning different shortcuts if you'd rather do it a different way, I just really want to have any shortcuts at all for the web interface. :)

+1 for implementing a full pallet of keyboard shortcuts including "Spam", "Mute conversation" and all the others we may be familiar from Gmail.
It would also be good if the shortcuts had a more intuitive context; currently 'a' for Archive only works when the email is selected in the overview list, not when the actual email body is selected.

I am trying out mailbox.org and am amazed that these otherwise wonderful European email services which run on green energy have NO keyboard shortcuts. Using the mouse takes forever and is really hard longterm on people's wrists. In the old days of tech every program had both keyboard and mouse options and I believe there were ISO standards about this. Nowadays it's become the wild west and anything goes. Only the tab button seems to work. I'm unwilling to pay for a plan that is so inefficient and will hurt my already damaged wrists.

Gmail has a very well developed level of shortcuts.

That would definitively improve the user experience

We also need keyboard shortcuts in writer i.e ctrl+a to mark all text and ctrl+c and +ctrl+v to copy and paste.

At least provide a shortcut to send mail. CMD/CTRL-Enter for example. That's sorely missing...

There are some shortcuts in the OX surface. Ctrl + F6 is handy.
The others are rather standard:

In case this turns up for anyone searching for keyboard shortcuts.
a => archive
delete or backspace => delete
arrow keys to navigate

It's not much but it does help in getting the inbox cleared quickly. Would also appreciate a more powerful solution.

We've been in touch on this with OX. What we can tell for sure is that it won't come in OX 8.0.
We would like to see it in a later version and we're going to keep on advocating.
So please bear with us.
