Not receiving emails from specific site

EDIT I read the spam FAQ. The problem seemed to be SMTP check setting.

Hi,

I believe I'm not receiving emails from a specific site. I don't see them in my spam or trash folders. I've searched all folders via Thunderbird and the web client. I've asked the admin of the site via IRC and he claims it seems to just be me. I'm not using a custom domain alias, rather an alias with @mailbox.org, so I don't believe it's a problem with MX records. I can receive emails to this alias from other websites.

Is there anything I could check to see if an email was denied or missed?

EDIT

I was able to receive the email after disabling the settings in spamprotection. The problem seemed to be SMTP check setting or the content filter. I incorrectly assumed spam protection would direct messages to the spam/junk folder rather than reject them outright, even when "flag and redirect" was selected, rather than "reject". Going forward, is there any way to ensure that possible false positives are directed to the spam folder?
