Remove public pgp key from contact - help

As per the headlines, I can't find a way to remove a public pgp key from a contact of mine: the public key I had generated a year or so ago for my wife's "hotmail" email in a personal testing phase for the guard and had sent it as an attachment to my mailbox. The guard automatically had loaded it into my wife's mail contact: now I would like to remove it, but I can't find any way (even deleting and recreating the contact the key "returns" also even by disabling the guard, the key remains in the contact) - with the loaded key I can't send messages with the temporary mailbox, because automatically the guard uses the key to send encrypted messages.
I hope I was clear enough and I hope you can help me :-)
