Too Many Connections Error

Got this error message for the first time today using Drive. Unable to open documents. Only had one or two docs opened in my tabs (closing them did not fix it). Deleting cookies and cache, logging out and in did not fix it. But things began working correctly a few minutes later on their own for whatever reason...contacted support for more info on the cause behind this, waiting to hear back. Has anyone else encountered this error message?
