Email filter on read status

I have recently started using Mailbox and love it - especially aliases.
Having set up multiple aliases I now want to automatically file them in separate folders (easy using Filter Rules) BUT only AFTER I have read them in my inbox. This makes it much easier to quickly process all my emails via the inbox and then come back later to individual folders as needed.
I cannot find a filter option for 'status' i.e. read/not read as surely this is what I need.
Any suggestions please?
