Task time zone forced to GMT when synced over CalDAV

I have the same time zone set in mailbox.org and iOS, but tasks synced via CalDAV have their due times converted to GMT. This doesn't change the actual time, but is unnecessary and clutters the interface, as Reminders on iOS show times in two time zones because of that.
Has anyone else noticed this behavior?
