Is there a way to add contacts from past sent messages?

Is there any way to add all contacts I have ever SENT emails to, to my contacts?

I am using Thunderbird after switching from Mac Mail, which remembered automatically, so it autocompleted addresses when composing emails. in Thunderbird it has no memory, so i have to type them all manually which is a real pain. So I wondered if anyone knows of a way to auto store all my sent emails 'To' addresses to Collected Addresses or Address Book?
