Migrate mail from Google Workspaces -> Mailbox.org

Is there a best practice for this mail migration?
manually exporting via MBOX -> Thunderbird -- No Inbox / Sent / Trash folders and everything is dumped into local folders
Audriga cannot migrate from Workspaces and their guide for a workaround to use the google api is from 2023 and no longer consistent with their migration tool capabilities.
UPDATE (Work around): sync with thunderbird and manually copy emails to mailbox.org.
