Synchronisation of emails with phone does not work

Hi,

I've set up email on my Iphone using the default mail app, configured using IMAP, not POP. The synchronisation between the web app and the mail app isn't working so well - mails I delete or move on the web continue to appear in the inbox on the phone, and vice versa. Is this a setting, or a known issue? Any thoughts?

I have been having the same problem for the last 2 days, it has become very uncomfortable to access the e-mails. I use exchange on samsung smartphone with android system

Hello.

Could it be that you are using an Android device and Google apps? There are currently problems with synchronization via ActiveSync, presumably caused by an update to the app.

There are also reports of the problem on Google's website,

e.g. https://support.google.com/mail/thread/388700940/

It also seems to be limited to EAS connections running via Google Apps or on Android devices.

Some people have apparently found a workaround by using other apps or switching to IMAP and CalDAV/CardDAV.
