Does the spam filter get trained if I move a message to junk via imap?
Need Answer
If I move a message to junk via an email client, does that help to train the spam filter?
Or do I need to move flag the item via the web mail interface for it to train the filter?

Hi,
thank you for your message. Yes, moving the e-mail to the junk folder will help train the spam filter, if they are correctly mapped via IMAP. Please check on the web mail client if the messages you moved in your e-mail-client are in the Spam folder. If this is the case, this will train the spam filter.
With kind regards
