Family acounts with lite family members

Hey, if I am on a standard plan, can I add additional family members with a lite membership? I love the idea of setting my kids up with email from a young age, but their requirements are so minimal, a standard plan is just completely overkill, and the overall subscription of a family of four on a standard plan each is hard to swallow.
