Automatically show received invites as provisional in calendar
Need Answer
Hi there,
is there a way to automatically have a calendar invite I receive by email show up as a provisional event in my calendar? Other services I use can do that.
I have the setting
"Automatically apply appointment changes received via email to your calendar" set to "Always" but that doesn't seem to do it.
I don't always catch invites among my mails right away, and have missed a few meeting invites that way.
Thanks!

Seconding this. To see incoming events in a CalDav calendar client before they are accepted/tentative/declined is an important feature.
I ran some tests. In the web calendar, provisional events do show as "reserved" correctly. However, they will not show in a calendar client (unless I open up the web calendar).
To elaborate:
when I receive an invite to an event, the event does not appear in my CalDav synced calendar client until I respond to the invite in the email by clicking accept or tentative.
However, I have noticed, if I open up Mailbox.org's browser web calendar, the provisional event will then show up in CalDav. So it seems like it almost works?

Just saw this - it seems to be working for me now, although I read mail in a mix of Thunderbird, iOS mail.app, and webmail, so not sure if that just confirms your observation.
