Webmail-System/*DAV-Server are also open source software, available from Open Xchange.

Hello, are there plans towards having mailbox.org being fsf approved? Do you believe providing transparency on how mailbox.org operates via it's source code would solidify the marketing for privacy? AFAIK it's just the Javascript used to register and use the system <https://www.fsf.org/resources/webmail-systems>; that's causing this issue.

I also thought today that open source is becoming more relevant. I was considering opening a mail account for a service that would have all its code open for inspection. That means that in theory I could switch from mailbox.org to something else due to mailbox.org not having open source code.
It is not that I would not trust mailbox.org, but as a developer, I would find it a valuable addition to be able to contribute to the code too.
