Errors when using smtp.mailbox.org via Blat
Published
Connecting to smtp.mailbox.org via Blat doesn't work at all on the 465 port, and gives the following error on the 587 port:
Sending C:\example.txt to johnc@mailbox.org Login name is jrgc@mailbox.org Try number 1 of 2. The SMTP server does not require AUTH LOGIN. Are you sure server supports AUTH? The SMTP server does not like the name johnc@mailbox.org. Have you set the 'To:' field correctly, or do you need authorization (-u/-pw) ?The SMTP server response was -> 554 5.7.1 <unknown[145.40.189.56]:52855>: Client host rejected: Access denied the 465 port leads to the program simply hanging.
I'm running Windows Server 2008 R2 (with TLS 1.2 support) and running Blat 2.5.2.

Unfortunately I cannot edit the post again, but ignore the following string in the original post: The SMTP server response was -> 554 5.7.1 <unknown[145.40.189.56]:52855>: Client host rejected: Access denied
