Why can't I archive mails from the K9 Mail app?

In the web app I can click the archive button, so the functionality exists, but K9 can't access it it seems.

I have K9 set configured to archive when swiping right and delete when swiping left. Delete works for mailbox but archive doesn't. Archive does work with other connected accounts, so it's an issue related to mailbox.

Has anyone successfully set this up?

Today it works. I don't know for sure, but yesterday was the first time I archived a mail in the web app, so I guess that somehow activated the function / created a archive folder and it took some time for that to be accessible through K-9.

The archive folder also didn't show up immediately in the web app after I first archived a mail but is visible now.
