Is it possible to present emails in a Gmail-style 'conversation view' – in which all replies (including my own) are threaded together?

Click the three dots next to your Inbox and select "group by conversations." This should work properly for your primary email address.

Unfortunately, the conversation view is limited to only TWO threads for alias addresses, creating unnecessary inbox clutter for longer exchanges (ie - seeing 8 unique message threads for 16 interactions instead of 1 unique message thread showing 16 interactions). I'd be grateful if someone at Mailbox or Open-Xchange would fix this pronto. Maybe there's some sort of technical limitation I'm unaware of?

I turned on this option, but still my sent message is not combined with the reply I got on this. Does this also have to do with my alias address? Is there any way to fix this?

If I recall, I asked mailbox support about this a long time ago, and sent messages aren't included in the conversation view. Simple quality of life improvements like a no nonsense, ALL INCLUSIVE (sent and received messages), unlimited conversation view like Gmail pioneered decades ago are such LOW HANGING FRUIT to improve the platform. The current limitations aren't fixed by a new coat of paint.

Indeed. I wonder why there is a difference between aliases and primary addresses. I have a custom domain, but this makes me doubt whether to use that or the primary one (with the disadvantage if somewhere in the future I’d move the whole thing again)

Do you think it might help if we create some tickets for the support people about this?

it works fine for me now. Next thing is that I would like to have the option to throw away all messages in a thread with one click. Now i have to go through them all
