calendar dark theme colors

I've used the dark theme for the entire time I've been with mailbox.org. A few weeks ago, my calendar colors changed - now I only see the outline of an event in the correct color for the calendar, but the fill is dark gray. This makes it much more difficult to tell which calendar an event is on.
This is new behavior as of the last few weeks; before the color showed correctly as the fill color as well. I also changed to the regular theme and the colors are correct (not just an outline), and I also tried a different browser and observed the same issue, so it's definitely a stylesheet setting for the dark theme or some other change.

I'm experiencing the same - annoying - problem, except that in my case :
- it never worked (I just signed up and got the problem right away)
- I don't even have colored outlines, only all-the-same dark grey fill.
Neither don't I have a "Custom colors" scheme under the View menu (like described in this Mailbox support post).
Any clue to solve this ?
