Has anyone been able to receive calendar invitations from another user using iCloud calendar

My friend uses iCloud calendar and when he sends an invite it comes from `noreply@email.apple.com`. It seems that I just don't get this email. I have contacted support from mailbox to do a trace and they claim no email from such address was ever received. However on my protonmail email I get them just fine. I want to know if anyone else is having said issue.

Have him delete your icloud email from his icloud contacts. Fixed it for me.
