Mail filter rules with Regex

I'm trying to create filter rules with regex.
I've found it complicated to redirect email and rules sometimes refuse to work.

Now I'm trying with regex and am struggling to input the right format.

Is there any documentation about the expected regex format?

Example: /.*(\.something|someone)@(domain1|domain2)\.nl/gm

I woud appreciate some guidance or direction, as I keep missing emails unfortunately.

for my experience, regexp works good.

Could you please provide the string you want to filter?

Maybe forgot the trailing ".*"?
