Internal error when using POP3 on external account

Hi,
I get an error when trying to collect emails from a freenet account:
Letzter Abruf: Wed, 06 Dec 23 18:30:36 +0000
Ein interner Fehler ist beim Abruf aufgetreten.
Tips?
The same problem 
No connection
Real-time notifications may not work
