No encrypted items found guard-mailvelope

hello everyone,
I am experiencing the following problem with mail sent to me using mailvelope: when I enter the guard psw I get the following error message "No encrypted items found."
since i have tested with my own hotmail email i know for sure that there are encrypted items considering even the reverse process works (encrypted mails from mailbox to hotmail are opened safely by mailvelope on hotmail)
i don't know if the fact that i am a light user will affect it, but i don't think so
