Adding Mailbox Aliases to Thunderbird
Answered
I used Mac Mail until recently. A long while ago Support sent me an article link to show how to add an alias to Mac Mail, so I could choose which to send from.
I am now on Thunderbird, can't see any articles on that and Support won't help. Hoping someone in here may know how to go about this please?

go to "account settings", at the bottom right there is the button "manage identities" and click "add".
if you don't have particular requirements just enter your name and email address of your alias.

Thank you so much :)
I don't know if I have particular requirements! I have the alias set up in Mailbox.org account, so am I right in thinking I can just do as you said, name and email of alias, and i will be able to send from that in Thunderbird? Great stuff if so! thanks again
