Email automatically selected AFTER I have finished processing a selection eg deleting a selection

Because an email is randomly selected .. probably the next in the line after the deleted ones or something I haven't tested it enough to know what .. If I then select another bunch of emails it means I can accidentally delete an email that I did not want deleted. A selection should only be made if I make it .. there should be no automatic selection of a single email AFTER the system has processed a bunch of selected emails for me. Is this explained well enough for you to fix it?

I also find this a pretty big gap in the browser functionality. If I'm looking at an email but then select back to return to my inbox, the email I was looking at remains selected. Seems like when you return to the inbox nothing should be selected.
