Can't receive forwarded email from another paid provider, but can from gmail

Just started trial and want to transfer emails from a paid account that will expire soon. Tried to forward direct to mailbox.org but can't. Have to forward to gmail THEN forward to mailbox.org. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

This might be due to a setup from the other paid provider that does not allow for forwarding.
In more technical terms, it could be a DNS entry with SPF -all, which we do respect.

Apart from that, please note that we needed to restrict trail accounts from receiving messages from varying external sources in order to prevent fraud.
