catch all the same as aliases?

Hi, I am looking to migrate away from my current email provider Tutanota to another long term provider. I currently have a domain with a catch all setup with Tutanota so a lot of my emails come in as apple@domain.com google123@domain.com.
What I want to ask is, with Mailbox.org are Aliases different to a catch all with a custom domain e.g. I don't have to pay extra to use my current catch all addresses, just if I wanted to use will123@mailbox.org, James413@mailbox.org?

Thank you for your inquiry — that’s an important question.
Catch-all addresses are treated like regular aliases. There is no additional charge for using them, but each catch-all counts toward your total number of available aliases. In other words, every catch-all you create uses one alias slot from your plan.
