Questions about using Joplin with the cloud drive
I tried looking for an answer but couldn't find one.
I'm interested in using Joplin with WebDAV connected to my mailbox.org cloud drive.
Joplin creates lockfiles with the same name that get deleted, these are then moved to the trash in the cloud drive like this:
"lockfile (1).json", "lockfile (2).json" etc.
The automatic file rename upper limit for the mailbox.org drive seems to be higher than 1000 e.g. "lockfile (1000).json" should work, but I'm still worried I'll hit the limit if there is one.
1. Has anybody used Joplin for a long period of time with the cloud drive?
2. Is there any way to disable the trash for the cloud drive?
3. Is there an upper limit to the automatic file renames e.g. "lockfile (10000).json"?
4. Do the files in the cloud drive trash get deleted automatically after e.g. 30 days and can this be set anywhere?
Yes I use joplin via webdev on desktop and mobile. You may find the storage get quite full due to the lock files going into the bin or ox drive starts complaining about syncing error. But yes any files that go into the cloud drive recycle bin delete after 30 days
