Error when adding new personal calendar - You don't have sufficient permissions to invite guests

When I try to add a new personal calendar, I get an error message saying "You don't have sufficient permissions to invite guests."
I have looked at the settings and also tried out different names. Nothing seems to change, I get the same error again upon trying to add a calendar. I have contacted mailbox.org's support, but they unfortunately can't help as I'm on the Light package...
Bonus weirdness: When I try to remove an invited guest from my main personal calendar and click on save I get the same error mentioned above.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any pointers?
