After setting up 2FA K9-Mail Client authentication fails
Published
After setting up 2FA, I cannot longer use K9-mail Client any longer.
When I have removed 2FA I can again log in to the client.
No connection
Real-time notifications may not work
Have you created/do you use an e-mail app password for IMAP4/SMTP? Settings -> mailbox.org -> E-Mail app passwords.

Hello,
I can see that you have already been switched to the new login by us.
So zapata is right. If your account already has the new Login 2.0 and you set up 2FA, then you need to set an application password for IMAP/SMTP to be able to send an receive Email with external Email-Clients (e.g. K9-Mail)
Settings -> mailbox.org -> E-Mail app passwords
