Mail categories are mentioned as a new feature but I can’t find out how to use them? No mentions of categories in settings or when moving mails

Regarding the New mailbox.org Suite:
Those part of it I have tried so far are impressive. It is generally easy to use and seems to respond more quickly than the previous version.
I noticed that not all of the contacts in address book were listed in alphabetical order on the first opening after the changeover to the beta version. After opening those records that were not in alphabetical order for editing and re-saving them without actually editing them, the list order fixed itself.

This beta option is unavailable for me at this time. According to the blog article, this is probably because I am not enabled yet for Login 2.0. Is there a way to enable Login 2.0 so I can also test the new mailbox.org suite?

I'm really enjoying exploring the beta! It looks great. Thank you.
How can I report bugs? I am not able to access the support link support.mailbox.org ( am haven't been able to for months). I get a page in English and German and when I click on 'anmeldung' it tries to redirect and says it is authenticating, but then returns to the same page.
Anyway, here is my first bug report: When trying to create a signature and after pressing save, I get this message:
ErrorAn error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
No signature is created.

There some to be no shortcuts for navigating through the message list (e.g. with j/k) - can this be added?

I really like the new suite. Especially Dark mode but also spacing and overall design. Thanks a lot.
One bug I found, I can't view my new mails in "Inbox" as it shows I have X number of unread mails but shows me only read ones. I can get to last few of these in Dashboard.

Can I ask, how will you work to address the bugs we report? Will they be looked and fixed incrementally , or will you gather them and then address them? The three I reported seem to be configuration/permissions issues. Will those be addressed quickly do you think?
Also, is there a way to enable a way to offer beta feedback in the interface itself? It's a hassle to have to write a support email each time I encounter a bug. Hopefully there won't be so many, but still...
Many thanks

In the web browser user interface, in the Drive app, I could not find a button or menu item to upload a new file to a folder.
Also, I could not find anywhere to click "Details" which in the previous version, used to bring up a panel on the right hand side which contained information on the number of versions stored, etc. Once I closed this pane in the beta versionl, I could not re-open it.

While setting up log-on two factor authentication, I think the interface box that comes up to inform the user of success or failure needs to located right next to the box that the user last uses, viz. the box where he or she enters the 6 digit code to verify the set-up. In the beta version, there is a success or failure interface box but it is not immediately visible on a typical laptop screen. You have to scroll to the of the page to see it. The QR Code and seed word text take up a lot of space on a laptop screen.

Here's my two initial reactions to trying the PWA on Firefox
- the logo is aligned weirdly on Firefox PWA
- sort order for unread mails was set up to something weird by default, but maybe I'm the only one with the new mails on top 🤔

I just added a new teams account to test the new experience. I like the new coat of paint. The PWA installation options is a nice addition compared to the old version. The settings panel looks way better then before. In terms of functionality, some things are new, but it is not a dramatic change. The online editors in Drive for example have not changed that much.
I have also setup Multi-Factor Authentication for the new account. During that setup I learned a few things that I want to provide here as feedback:
- In Step 1 it asks for a device name. It is not immediately clear this refers to the device you intend to use as the extra factor, such as an authenticator app on a smartphone.
- Step 2 could have more instructive text about examples of a TOTP-app, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. I think most ordinary users understand “authenticator app” but not “TOTP-app”.
The first attempt to activate MFA failed. I typed in the code after adding the account to my authenticator app, but nothing happened. Like the GUI did not register anything. I logged out and back in and tried the steps again. This time the code was accepted and MFA was enabled.
Next, I created an email app-password. Very straightforward. Feedback:
1. The dialog should mention your must use your normal username in combination with the newly generated application password.
2. I miss the option to create an app password for Exchange Activesync, since only IMAP and SMTP are available. I strongly suggest to mailbox.org to also enable creation of email app passwords for Exchange ActiveSync, since this still is the easiest way to connect on mobile devices (in a way normal (not-IT) people understand.
I also created an application password for Carddav/Caldav. I was a bit surprised to see that this uses a unique username next to the password. This is very different compared to other online services that use MFA. It means users must store this separate combination of credentials for Carddav/Calddav next to their IMAP/SMTP credentials. And it creates a problem, described below.
I downloaded the configuration profile (mail, calendar, contacts) for MacOS and installed it via System Settings. This profile installation failed and I think I know why. The username for Carddav and Caldav in the profile preview shows the regular mailbox username. But, because MFA is enabled, the username provided with the application password must be used - at least I assume that is the cause. I got the following error:
The profile “mailbox.org Suite E-Mail (org.mailbox.app.mail,caldav,carddav.{username}@mailbox.org:c1876b7d-d1c5-7390-0000-0006001804bc)” could not be installed due to an unexpected error.
<DAAccountValidationDomain:102>
Creating a manual connection to Caldav, using the unique username and application password, also failed to sign in. Multi-Factor Authentication definitely needs work. I am sure I am using the correct Caldav address and server path to the calendar.
I hope mailbox.org can use this feedback to improve the MFA and connect your device experience. Main focus points are the lack of Exchange ActiveSync support and the fact that application passwords for Carddav/Caldav involves another username.

Is there an official download site for the PWA app?

I really like the new design, however I think the settings placements are a bit odd. I appreciate personal data settings being under the profile picture, that's very intuitive, but both the cogwheel on the top right and the hamburger menu on the top left having different settings menus is a bit odd. Maybe it'd be better if the "all settings" button in the cogwheel's menu was highlighted so one could find the rest of the settings more easily? Or maybe put it at the bottom instead of the top? I'm sure you'll figure something out. I for one assumed the cogwheel just contained quick settings at first since the Layout section caught my attention and I only skimmed down from there visually, not up, so I entirely missed the "all settings" button and only found the rest of the settings under the top left hamburger menu shortly after. That may just be a me problem though.

In the Settings menu, under Security, does the Automatic Sign Out feature do anything? When I click on the down arrow for it, I see only a blank box.

In the Settings menu, under Security, I think the Email App Passwords feature should be called something like Email App Management because this is where I think you can enable or disable IMAP and SMTP client apps as well as merely set passwords for them.
