How can I make sure my email spam filter doesnt block legitimate messages?

I am thinking of moving to maibox.or from BT. One problem I have had with BT is that sometimes they put important legitimate emails into a spam folder. How do I know you won't accidentally block these emails automatically and I never know they have been sent.

There are some options you can change in the account settings - basically, decreasing the "spam protection level". My advice is to play with those till you reach the right level of compromise between general spam and important messages you may get from other parties.
Personally, I am using the default spam settings and haven't encountered any issues except waiting for more than 5 mins for an email
