Family account can't add domain alias

I have recently added a family account for my wife. I added a domain alias for myself (including setting up the DNS TXT entry).

When trying to add a domain alias to the family account then button is inactive, can't be pressed. I have looked through the KB but can't see anything else I should have done.

Any ideas?

I have same problem.

Luckeley the support linked to the page explaining how, however the image showing hos is missing and I would like that the support have written how to fix the missing button.. but no. 😔

I have managed to get things setup now but sometimes it was not at all obvious. The new UI and missing documentation images aren't helping.

Totaley agre, some times i think they get things to work on pure luck

So I think it went something like this...

I upgraded my account so I could add a family account, I then added the account for my wife. I forgot that I needed to go to the payment page. I thought I was done. I took the wording "with obligation to pay" as meaning I would get an email or bill.

I added my domain alias, got the TXT record for the DNS and added it. I could not do the same for my wife's account, the button was disabled. I found another post titled "custom-alias-not-possible" by Simon Adams where he re-enabled the button in the browser dev tools, it worked!! I then had a different TXT record for my DNS.

My next problem was that me and the wife each have two aliases at our domain and I couldn't figure out how to add them. I day later I realised that I was trying to add a new one into the 'Memo' field of the first one. Doh! The layout and wording of this stuff really seems to be tripping me up. I should add that I am not new to any of this kind of thing...

Finally the I got the two aliases each working and setup the rest of the DNS records and have been receiving mail into the accounts for a day or so now.
