More calendar colors

Hello there, new user here!
I have set up my calendar, which is the app I'm interested the most in. I use exactly 10 calendars + a couple of shared ones. The 10 main calendars are always active and visible in the calendar. Unfortunately there are only 8 available colors, brown/black included. I wonder if it's planned to add more colors in the future, or to allow the user to enter a custom color manually.

Real-time notifications may not work
Same problem for me. In fact, before the big UI update there have been more colors and I have been using them. It's really a pity that there are now so view colors left. Before, I was using 14 different colors. I can narrow it down to 9, but 8 is just one too view :-(

Having custom colours again would me much appreciated.
While the new colours look nice, they lack visual contrast, which is quite annoying when trying to make sense of multiple calendars and appointments. And no, categories don't solve this, as they still use the same colour palette :(
I also sincerely doubt they are acceptable for visually impaired people as even I find it sometimes hard to differentiate between the yellow, orange and brown.
While the new UI has added much customization, I don't think this one has been well thought-thru.
Personally I don't use the calendar for simply blocking appointments / time. For me it's a very important visual scheduling tool in a busy life.
So dear Mailbox.org, I can do without a background picture, but please bring back the (functionallity) of the old calendar colour palette! :)

I just realized something. I am using some of my mailbox calendars from Business Calendar 2 for Android, which offers native caldav+mailbox support. I logged in with my mailbox account, and from the calendars settings, I've changed all the colors to fit my preferences, at least locally.
I've noticed something: some of the calendar's colors have been synced to my mailbox account! From the webapp, some calendars (not all of them) now are shown with the color I've set from mobile, and no longer in their standard mailbox color. This change is only shown in the calendars list - events in the agenda are still using the mailbox color, as you can see from the attached screenshot: the "impegni" calendar is shown in "teal" (#1DA583), which is not one of the standard mailbox colors

We understand that it is disappointing when certain features are no longer available after an update. Unfortunately, the new version of Open XChange (web interface software) has a limited color palette for calendars and appointments. We have already submitted a feature request to the software developers and hope that it will be available again in future updates of the software.

Why do you call this *** software mailbox suiite when you don't have control over it and can only send feature requests for every tiny change. Maybe you should ditch Open Xchange.
