Suite app: share folders in 'root'

I would like to share a folder with photos which is in Pictures >Folder1, but I can't find a way to select this Folder1 and share it. There is simply no check box to select and also the '. ...'-button doesn't help.

However, if a folder is in Pictures>Folder1>Folder2 I can select Folder2 and share it. Which would be a workaround.

But preferably I like to share Folder1 as-is.

Anyone an idea? Thanks

(Edit: in some case there actually is a check box which allows me to share, but its presence is inconsequent. Just found out: the checkboxes are gone once you go into a folder and press 'back' to go one folder up).
