catch-all setup issue

Hi,

I've just set up Mailbox to use a custom domain as explained here: https://kb.mailbox.org/en/private/custom-domains/using-emails-with-a-custom-domain/

What I would like is to be able to receive email from ANY addresses from my domain. I've just tested by adding an email alias for my custom domain and it works with ONLY that particular address but I can't find a way to just catch ANY address. As a matter of fact if I remove that alias and send an email to that address, the mail does not get delivered and get: "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender".

Furthermore reading: https://kb.mailbox.org/en/private/custom-domains/using-e-mails-with-a-custom-domain-faq/#can-i-use-catch-all-addresses-with-my-own-domain-at-mailbox it says:

"Yes, this is possible. Details can be found in the separate article on own domain and catch-all addresses"

The question is: Do I need to configure each email alias for every address that I want to catch? I definitely do not want to create an alias each time I want to use a new address (my use case is to use different addresses for each service I register to have better privacy from third parties. E.g: amazon@mycustomdomain.com, netflix@mycustomdomain.com, etc. I just somehow want mailbox to catch any: @mycustomdomain.com addresses that I might decide to use on the fly. Is it possible to do this? If so, how do I do it?

Thanks in advance,

Lucas.

Ok, sorted out! It turns out as per this link: https://kb.mailbox.org/en/business/custom-domains/using-your-own-domain-with-catch-all/#catch-all-aliases-at-mailbox that the only thing to do is to add @mydomain.com as an external alias.

If anyone from MailBox is reading this, it would be great to mention this in the very same form where external aliases are defined so customers don't need to search and read that in an external page.

Thanks,

Lucas.
