Keyboard shortcut for delete

I can see from pressing '?' that there's a keyboard shortcut for Archive, but not Delete.
Am I missing something or is there some way to configure this? I found the Keyboard Shortcuts settings but it still doesn't expose a shortcut for Delete.

Hello.

Do you mean deleting an email? You can delete selected emails using the backspace key.

But it only works when the message is selected in the list. It doesn't work in "detail" view, i.e. when you're reading the message. Or is there a way to go back to the list with a keyboard shortcut from there?

Yeah, I'd like this too. I'm coming from Startmail and pressing delete/backspace deletes an opened email and it makes it much faster when going through a ton of emails.

This shortcut is not working when an email is opened, is there a secret shortcut to delete the opened mail?

No, we're talking about after we've opened and email and are done reading it. We'd like to be able to press delete to delete the email instead of having to use the mouse to press the trash icon.

Right now Mailbox.org isn't built for speed. In other email apps, we can press "enter" on a highlighted email in the listof emails and it opens, then once it's opened we can pres delete to delete it and then the next next in the list is highlighted and we can press enter to open that.

it's nice because we don't have to have our hands leave the keyboard.
