Question about aliases

Let's say my main email is abc@mailbox.org and my alias is xyz@mailbox.org
Is it possible to enable login using xyz@mailbox.org only and reject all atempts to login using abc@mailbox.org?
This setup would make many password attacks on the mailbox useless.
I like this idea
