CalDav-CardDav not working on iOS 26.x

We are new to mailbox.org business, trying to migrate away from Gmail. Email has been going really smooth.


However, we cannot get CalDav or CardDav to work on iOS 26.x, specifically 26.3.


The docs seem to be outdated as to the iOS screenshots and Apple has moved things around quite a bit.


However, when adding a CalDav account, it ends up being inactive. When adding a CardDav account, we run into an SSL problem with iOS prompting us to use CardDav without SSL - which is no option for obvious reasons.


Are these known issues? We can't use mailbox.org as our future platform of choice if these things don't work.


We've tried with application specific passwords and the main password. All to no success.


Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, the menu in IOS 26.x has changed but the other part of the instructions from https://kb.mailbox.org/en/private/addressbook-and-calendar/caldav-and-carddav-for-mac-os-and-ios/#setting-up-the-connection works on my iPhone (iOS 26.3). If you use 2FA you must use application passwords for Card/CalDAV. The main password shouldn't work.

Maybe check Advanced Settings and make sure "Use SSL" is on and port is 443.
