Can't add custom domain to Family account on light

I have a standard account and I have bought a year's light account for my wife.
I have a custom domain setup and working for me, but I thought I would be able to give her an address on my custom domain as well, but I can't find it anywhere.
Is this possible and how do I do it? I have tried everything I can think of and if I had any hair, it would have been all pulled out by now.

I have the same issue. I followed the instructions in the Knowledge Base, but the option to set an external alias does not show up in my wife's account (Light Plan).

Contact mailbox support: https://support.mailbox.org or helpdesk@mailbox.org. I think on the german forum someone suggested to temporarily switch to standard plan and then downgrade again. Information provided without guarantee. :-)

Either they fixed something after seeing this thread, or sleeping on it worked. Wanted to contact their support tonight, but gave it one last try first, and turns out the option was there now.
