PWA on iPhone notifications

Every time I open the PWA on my iPhone, I see a popup asking to enable notifications, but in a PWA there is no option to do this or prevent this. Closing the notification will also not help. Next time, it pops up again.
I don't need/want notifications, and am expecting that closing the popup would never show it again (by setting a cookie, I guess).
The same problem 
Access denied
No connection
Real-time notifications may not work
