Why don't you put the login screen on the first page?

I don't understand why I have to click through three screens to get to my messages. There is a login button on the main page, that takes you to another screen with a Continue button, and then finally, the login screen.

WHY!

The login screen should on the main page. These other screens that you have to click through shouldn't exist.

Also, the previous design looked a little rough, but it looked legit. The new design makes it look like a fake website. I honestly would never have signed up for this service if it looked like this at the time with all the weird fake looking people.
