Not getting any new email notifcations in Firefox?

Using Mailbox in Firefox. I have enabled all notifications, sounds etc. But I don't get any new mail notifications, not even a (1) in the tab, like Gmail (which I dumped for Mailbox). Maybe I missed something? Now I'm missing important emails.

I don't want to install a client like Thunderbird on my desktop.

Known issue. My ticket is open for almost 8 months (the problem exists even longer). mailbox are incapable of solving the problem or they simply don't care. Instead of fixing old bugs/issues they are raising prices. :-)

Notifications seem to work in the old UI (https://office-sso.mailbox.org), but it has other issues.

I never knew this was something I had to consider when I was searching for a new email provider. I'm shocked to be honest.

Because of this and other annoyances, I switched to the smallest tariff and mainly use Fastmail now. My account here is paid until January 1st, 2029. Maybe this and other issues are resolved by then. But I have my doubts. :-)

And I just sent all my clients my new address, and changed everything in my apps. Damn. I guess they assume everyone will use a desktop client or something.

Open a ticket via https://support.mailbox.org or via e-mail (helpdesk@mailbox.org). Maybe they just don't like me and they can fix the issue for you.
