5KB spreadsheets won't open. "Your file is very large" and just spins
Published
This is happening whenever I try to open any xlsx doc that I created in mailbox.org and have stored in my mailbox.org drive. When I try to open them, there is a spinning icon and a message that say "Sorry, your document is very large. It will take some time to be loaded."
This happens even with very small files that are 5KB and 7KB. No matter how long I wait they never load. If I download them and open them in LibreOffice the document seems to be fine.
I am using Brave browser on Mint Linux.

I have tried turning off Brave Shields, Ublock Origin, and disabling my Pihole, and the problem still occurs. I am not connected to a VPN.

Huh, that worked! Thanks!

Hello,
We have now fixed the error. It occurred sporadically with some Open XChange instances. If it does not work despite deleting the cache and cookies in your browser, I would like to ask you to open a support ticket so that we can address this problem as quickly as possible.
It will help us a lot if you tell us the affected ox number in the ticket. You can find this by clicking on the question mark at the top right of our web interface and then on “About” . A window will then open in which you will see an ox number (e.g. ox91) at the very end of the last line. This is the instance you are currently connected to.
We wish you a pleasant week.
