Calendar automatically applied appointment changes not working anymore

Good evening.
A while back I turned on the option to "Automatically apply appointment changes received via email to your calendar" in the calendar settings, by switching it to "Always".
It worked very good, until recently (at least 1 week ago) - the changes (new invites, updated invites, etc.) are not applied automatically to my calendar.
Does anyone have the same issue, or know something about this ?
