Not receiving certain emails (instagram)

I've just recently set up a lite email account. I've set up an email alias and have signed up to a few services without problem when receiving confirmation codes. I'm trying to set up a new Instagram account but the confirmation code will not come through to my inbox. I tried it with the main address to see if it would come through and it did. I've temporarily disabled my spam filters but still nothing from the alias address. I only activated the email today, is it a case of wait and see or is there another issue? Thanks for any input!

Hi! Same problem here, in my case with ChatGPT and Amazon :(

I haven't tried those, but it worked fine with Etsy, just not Instagram!

Similar experience here. However, everything worked once I paid for the account. Would be nice to know that not all emails will be accepted into an unpaid account.

That's what I was hoping, so I paid for a light account but the issue still persists.

I still do not receive verification code from instagram . I paid 2 day ago for a year in Advance,. I contacted the Helpdesk. after 12 hours thy replied it was related to the former test-phase. further they wrote , that they fixed it meanwhile , because it is now a paid account. 48 hours later it still nock works, and no reply from service desk !! what now?

thank you for your message. Does it work now for you? If not, please send the following data to our Helpdesk:

1. the exact date and time you should have received the verification code from Instagram
2. the e-mail address you used


Please keep in mind that we delete our logfiles after seven days for privacy purposes, so the message should not be older than four or five days.
