How do I send mail from a configured custom domain e-mail address?
Proposed
I configured my custom domain 'example.com' and added mail addresses like 'johnsmith@example.com'.
If I send a mail from an external provider (eg. gmail) to 'johnsmith@example.com' it arrives just fine and I can reply to it from the mail address 'johnsmith@example.com'.
However if I compose a new mail in mailbox.org I can only select @mailbox.org ending e-mails as a sender and not my custom domain, eg. I can send from 'johnsmith@mailbox.org' but not from 'johnsmith@example.com'.
What do I miss, is there a setting for that somewhere?

I like this idea
Hi, I realize this is a few months old, but maybe still relevant. I'm on a trial account at the moment, and set up a custom domain. I could change my default sender address to my custom domain one, and then select any of the ones I'd set up in New Email popup in web interface.

I've only signed up with Bombola and arranged external aliases in the last week, so maybe I am missing something, but I think it would be a good idea if Mailbox would display the current default email address on the E-mail page. It would also be good to be able to switch aliases in a single click on that page.

Sorry, meant "only signed up with mailbox"

Thanks beaverribbit, yes, I saw that was happening. It just seems a bit clunky, and likely to send messages from an incorrect alias.
